KATHMANDU, March 2: A six-year-old girl died after being hit by a tipper truck in Kapilvastu district.
The incident occurred at Jamuni in Maharajgunj Municipality–3 along the Taulihawa–Bahadurganj section of the Hulaki Highway. The tipper truck (registration number Lu 2 Kha 6195), which was heading east, struck Prinka Pasi, the six-year-old daughter of Ram Sajan Pasi of Jamuni.

Police said the child died on the spot.
Following the accident, a team from the Area Police Office, Maharajgunj, and the District Police Office, Taulihawa, reached the scene.
Police have taken the tipper and its driver into custody and are conducting further investigation into the incident.
