Kathmandu, April 13: Chancellor of Nepal Music and Drama Academy Saru Bhakta has a new book 'Bangatinga Dharsaharu' in the market. The Mudan Puraskar laureate has written 30 memoirs for the new book.

Having published over three dozen books, his works encompass various genres such as poetry, essay, play, short story and novel.

The book takes the title from the three-line poem placed at the beginning. "Bangatinga Dharsaharu is a muktak I wrote around 37 years ago. I like to believe it is a reflection of me. I wrote the pieces for the book over 40 years of my literary life; remembering literary giants like Siddhi Charan Shrestha and Bhupi Sherchan, and incidents that happened over the years," said the writer.

A press statement issued by FinePrint, the publisher of the book, explains that the collection elucidates how he 'came to write Chulee and takes us down to the memory lane of his writing career'. The book will help readers get a clear understanding of 'the writing process of one of Nepal's most known writers'.

'Bangatinga Dharsaharu'

is priced at Rs 350.
