Samsung launches Galaxy A57 5G, Galaxy A37 5G in Nepal with extended EMI facility

KATHMANDU, April 17: Samsung Nepal has launched the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, expanding its Galaxy A-series lineup with upgraded camera systems, AI-powered features and improved performance for everyday use, according to a company statement.



The company has also introduced an extended 24-month EMI facility under its Samsung Insta Finance service, powered by Hulas Finserve Hire Purchase Ltd., replacing the previous 12-month instalment plan. The facility allows customers to purchase the devices through simplified processing requiring only citizenship documents.


According to Samsung, the new Galaxy A series is powered by “Awesome Intelligence,” enabling smarter user interactions and enhanced productivity features such as voice transcription, AI Select, object eraser, filters and edit suggestions. The Galaxy A57 5G also includes Best Face and Auto Trim features for improved photo and video creation, the statement added.

Both smartphones feature a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor, with enhanced image processing and Nightography support for clearer photos and videos in low-light conditions. AI-based scene recognition improves portraits, skin tones and background separation.


The devices are powered by upgraded CPU, GPU and NPU performance for smoother multitasking, streaming and content creation. A 5,000mAh battery offers up to two days of usage, while the Galaxy A57 5G supports Super Fast Charging 2.0. A larger vapor chamber in the A57 5G helps maintain performance during heavy use, the company said.


Both models feature IP68-rated water and dust resistance and Vision Booster technology for improved indoor and outdoor display visibility.


Samsung said the devices will receive up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support.


The Galaxy A57 5G is available in 12GB/256GB and 8GB/256GB variants, priced at Rs 89,999 and Rs 84,999, respectively. The Galaxy A37 5G is available in 12GB/256GB, 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/128GB variants, priced at Rs 79,999, Rs 72,999, and Rs 64,999, respectively.


Both devices will be available through Samsung’s official retail channels and authorized partners across Nepal, the statement said.
