Salman's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' to compete with Aamir's 'PK' for best 'Social Film Award'

MUMBAI, Dec 13: Superstar Salman Khan-starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" will compete with Aamir Khan's blockbuster "PK" for the Most Entertaining Social Film at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2015, to be held on Sunday.



Directed by Kabir Khan, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which narrates the story of how an Indian man discovers love and affection while taking a Pakistani mute girl back to her country, won hearts and ruled the box office by surpassing the Rs.300 crore mark in India.

On the other hand, director Rajkumar Hirani's "PK" became the highest grossing Indian film overseas with a total collection beyond Rs.620 crore.


Other films fighting for the trophy are "Dum Laga Ke Haisha", "Gabbar Is Back", "NH 10" and "ABCD 2". Salman and "Student of the Year" actress Alia Bhatt have also confirmed their performance for the awards.
