KATHMANDU, March 7: Komal Gyawali of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kailali Constituency–1.

Gyawali secured 17,862 votes to clinch the seat, defeating her closest rival Janak Raj Chaudhary of the Nepali Congress, who garnered 12,867 votes.


Meanwhile, Ram Lal Dagoura Tharu of the NCP finished third, receiving 8,392 votes.
