Revival of monarchy a distant dream: Sujata

MORANG, March 21: Nepali Congress (NC) central Working Committee member Sujata Koirala has asked the royalist forces in the country not to dream revival of the monarchy in Nepal.



Talking to journalists in GP Koirala Foundation, Biratnagar, on Monday morning, leader Koirala said that restoration of monarchy was not possible at any cost.

She instead urged the political parties to come together to institutionalize the achievements obtained from the seven-decade-long struggles.


"Now, we should work for country's economic revolution by uniting all," she added. She was of the view that implementation of the constitution was difficult without co-work among the political parties.


Koirala also shared that NC would perform constructive roles for the implementation of the constitution by remaining in the opposition bench. RSS
