Republic of Korea appoints new envoy to Nepal

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Mr. Kim Il-doo has been appointed the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, succeeding Mr. Hong Sung-mog.



Meanwhile, Mr. Burak Akcapar, Ambassador designate of the Republic of Turkey to Nepal arrived in Kathmandu today to present his Letter of Credence to President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, which is scheduled to be held on August 26.



According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Akcapar is residing in New Delhi with concurrent accreditation to Nepal.



He was received by the Protocol Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Turkey to Nepal.
