RAUTAHAT, Sept 15: Rautahat district witnessed 23 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday.
The fresh cases were detected while conducting 290 PCR tests at Narayani Hospital Lab in Birgunj on Monday evening. Most of the fresh cases are from Garuda Municipality.

Four employees of the Rastriya Banijya Bank, Garuda branch, four employees of Civil Bank, two Armed Police Force personnel, a policeman from the Area Police Office and nine individuals from Garuda Municipality tested positive for the virus.
Additionally, one person each from Madhav Narayan Municipality and Chandrapur Municipality also have been found infected with coronavirus.
