The new pack comes in a mixture of blue, green and golden color which the company said represents a cup of tea. “Rahul Dairy Whitener comes in a three layered air tight metallic pouch which ensures the safety, quality and hygiene of the product,” the company said issuing a press statement.[break]
The new packaging was launched during a program organized to celebrate third anniversary of the Chitwan-based dairy producer.
“The dairy whitener, which is easily soluble in lukewarm water, is manufactured using state of art technology in hygienic condition. Besides tea and coffee, the product can also be used to make products like yogurt, sweets, rice pudding, lassi and ice-cream, among others,” said the statement.
Sanjit Kumar Rajbhandari, senior sales and marketing manager of Chitawon Milk, said the new pack will be available in 450 grams and 900 grams packs. The 450 grams pack will be available at Rs 265, while the 900 grams pack will cost Rs 495. Rajbhandari said the product is healthy as it retains the essence of milk such as calcium, protein and fat and hence can be used instead of milk.
The company is planning to introduce Rahul Skim Milk Powder in a metallic pack of 1 kg within April. “The skim milk will have low fat, high protein and calcium and no added sugar will be used,” said Rajbhandari.
The company has been producing milk, ghee, yoghurt, cream, butter, paneer and skim milk power for the last three years.
