Stating that the decision of the government of providing Rs 15,000 as relief to each quake-affected family was not justifiable, the Association said that it has decided to launch pressure-exerting programmes against the government to provide at least Rs 50,000.
Association Chairman Rabin Ghimire said that failing to control black marketing during the hour of national disaster and to provide Rs 15,000 to the quake-survivors, as said by the government, so far, among other activities have made the quake-affected people more concerned.
The Association also demanded the government to make arrangements for providing free education to the children of quake-hit areas up to grade 12 and employment to family members of those, killed in quake. RSS
