Pulchowk beat Tribhuvan University by seven runs, while KCTC defeated Pentagon College by 18 runs.
In the match between Pulchowk and TU, the former posted 139/10 in 19.4 overs with Suman Shah scoring 36 runs off 33 balls and Gaurav Khadka adding quickfire 33 runs from 13 balls. Suman hit a six and four boundaries, while Gaurav cracked two sixes and five fours. Pulchowk's Kamal Pun contributed 24 runs off 31 balls that included a four.
Krishna Gajurel and Abhises Thapa of TU bagged three wickets each, while Raunak Ghungana claimed two wickets.
Later, TU managed only 132/6 in allotted 20 overs despite Anup Shrestha contributing 38 runs facing 24 balls and Santosh Kumar Shah adding 30 runs off 27 balls. Anup hit a six and three fours, while Santosh hit four boundaries.
Pulchowk's Santosh Bhattrai picked up two wickets and Sumant Shah claimed a wicket.
In another match, Aadil Khan's 39 runs from 26 balls and Jitendra Thakuri's 33 runs off 26 balls helped KCTC score 157/7 against Pentagon. Aadil hit two sixes and four boundaries and Jitendra cracked a six and three fours.
Manish Sahani (25) and Sumit Maharjan (20) were the other batsmen to score in double digits.
Navin Kumar Yadav and Abinash Adhikari bagged two wickets each for Pentagon, which later managed only 139/6 despite five batmen scoring in double figures.
Somesh Yadav (26 off 36), Dhiraj Adhikari (24 off 17), Abinash Adhikari (24 off 15), Jeevan Lamsal (18) and Sumit Shrestha (13) were the batsmen to reach double figures but Pentagon failed to win the match.
