The arrested are Rajendra Sahani and Satan Saha Godha of Bairiyabirta VDC-3, according to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya.[break]
Armed Police Force Border Security Office, Pokhariya, arrested them along with 30 kg of hashish from Auraha VDC-6 while being taken to India.
The arrested have been sent to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya, for necessary legal action.Similarly, Bhiswa Base Camp of the Armed Police Force confiscated 40 kilograms of marijuana from Dhobini around 9:00 pm Sunday.
Smugglers ran away leaving behind the marijuana, while being taken to India, after they saw the police.
Likewise, investigation is underway on Sheetal Lama and Sharmila Lama of Amalekhgunj-2 in Bara district, who were arrested with prohibited drugs Police said both the women are drug addicts.
