PM Dahal describes Nepalese Army as best, professional and noble

BHAKTAPUR, April 12: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the Nepalese Army has been establishing itself as the outstanding, professional and dignified institution remaining under the command of the constitutional government.

BHAKTAPUR, April 12: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the Nepalese Army has been establishing itself as the outstanding, professional and dignified institution remaining under the command of the constitutional government. 



The Prime Minister said this while addressing the commissioning ceremony for the graduates of the Serial Number 55 Officer Cadet Training and the Serial Number 45 Junior Cadet Corps/Sergeant Training organized at the Nepalese Army Training Academy at Kharipati, Bhaktapur today.

PM Dahal stressed that the newly commissioned cadet and JCOs should be able to perform the responsibility bestowed on them, serving the nation, nationality and the people by abiding by the designated principles of the state. 


"The Army has not left any stone unturned to introduce the identity and valour of Nepal and the Nepalis to the world by making exemplary contribution to establishing peace in the international arena also besides remaining dedicated for the sake of the nation and the countrymen," the Prime Minister said. 


PM Dahal also said that the Nepalese Army was capable of showing its excellence in a honest and professional manner by remaining at the forefront even at the time of national disasters and emergencies. "The participation of foreign trainees in the Nepalese Army Staff College in the recent days clearly shows that the professional excellence of the Nepalese Army has now become worth emulation among the foreign armies also," he added. 


Defence Minister Bal Krishna Khand, Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri, among others were present on the occasion. 

The Prime Minister on the occasion also honoured the outstanding trainees of the two-year training. 


One hundred thirteen persons including 12 women attended the Serial Number 55 Officer Cadet Training also participated by students from Kenya and Bangladesh while 18 Nepali students attended the Serial Number 45 JCO/Sergeant Cadet Training. RSS
