KATHMANDU, July 31: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that determined and optimistic young entrepreneurs can contribute to realizing the national aspiration of "Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali."
Speaking at the "Startup Entrepreneurs with the Prime Minister" program organized by the Industrial Business Development Institute at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday, PM Oli emphasized the need to remain hopeful about the future.
Student entrepreneurs represent Nepal in Canada
“If we give up on the future, nothing will remain,” he said, “We must move forward with the belief that we can build a beautiful, developed Nepal ourselves. No one else will build our country for us.”
He said that Nepal is on track to be graduated to a developing country by 2026 and will move toward becoming a developed nation thereafter. “With the use of technology, innovation, and increased productivity, we can achieve modernization,” he said, adding, “If we all put in effort, we can do it — Nepal will be built.”
On the occasion, PM Oli also visited stalls showcasing products from various Nepali entrepreneurs.
