PM Oli holds meeting with Indian PM Modi on sidelines of BIMSTEC summit

BANGKOK, April 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bangkok, Thailand on the sideline of the sixth BIMSTEC Summit on Friday.


The meeting followed the conclusion of the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

Prime Minister Oli, who left for Bangkok on Tuesday, is leading the Nepali delegation for the summit and his first official visit to Thailand — the first by a Nepali prime minister in 65 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
