PM Oli condemns Paris attacks

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the deadly attacks in Paris on Friday night.

Sending a condolence message to the Government of France for the families of victims, Prime Minister Oli said, “I am deeply shocked to learn of terrorist attacks on multiple venues, in Paris yesterday killing and injuring scores of innocent people. We univocally condemn this senseless act of terrorism.”

“This attack is not only on the French people, but also on the values of open, democratic and egalitarian society they have been espousing for several centuries. The people and the Government of Nepal stand firmly with the friednly Government and people of France in this difficult hour,” reads the message.

Expressing strong solidarity in fighting against terrorism in all its all forms and manifestations, PM Oli has wished for a speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks.

Over 120 innocent people perished in the deadly attacks in multiple venues that occurred on Friday night.
