PM Karki concerned over notice of Hyatt Regency closure

The government has stated that it will hold further discussions with the hotel management on Sunday and take necessary steps.

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed concern regarding the notice about the closure of services and prohibition of employees' entry at Hyatt Regency. 



After PM Karki's concern, Finance Minister Rameshore Khanal spoke with the management of Hyatt Regency this morning to inquire about the status, the PM's secretariat stated.

During the discussion, Finance Minister Khanal said the government was ready to ensure full security and requested the management to operate services without any disruption. 


Finance Minister Khanal said, “Do not get panicked. Resume your services with high morale. We are with you. We will arrange necessary security. Continue your business without any interruption”. 


The government has stated that it will hold further discussions with the hotel management on Sunday and take necessary steps.
