KATHMANDU, March 31: Senior Photojournalist of Nagarik Daily Bijay Rai has bagged Babuchhiri Photojournalism Award on Saturday.

On the occasion of 20th anniversary of Reporters Club Nepal, Rai was felicitated with the award that carries a purse of Rs 20,000 along with a certificate. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli handed over the prize to Rai . Rai was awarded the prize for his contribution to political transitional period, earthquake and other issues through photography.
Marking the occasion the club has honored as many as 11 journalists from various media houses.
