KATHMANDU, June 14: Colorful flags, joyful cheers, and a strong message of equality filled the streets of Kathmandu on Saturday as sexual and gender minorities marched in the 'Nepal Pride Parade'.

The vibrant rally began at Shanti Batika and made its way to Narayan Chaur, drawing hundreds of participants from diverse backgrounds — all united in support of LGBTQIA+ rights.

Community leaders, activists, and allies joined the march, calling for inclusion, respect, and legal recognition of gender-diverse identities. The atmosphere was filled with music, dance, and emotional expressions of pride and resilience.
