A team comprising the DoC Director Hari Narayan Belbase carried out the monitoring at the oil store and sealed it on suspicion of selling adulterated fuel after a vehicle failed to run after filling diesel at the petrol pump.
DoC stated the diesel sold by the petrol pump was found mixed with water and it has prohibited the Oil Store from selling diesel. It has taken sample of the fuel for laboratory test.
It is stated that five vehicles that filled at the Oil Store in the morning failed to run and when the drivers of these vehicles checked the fuel out of suspicion they found that it looked murky.
