Pedestrian killed in motorcycle-hit in Sarlahi

SARLAHI, Sept 19:  An elderly man died after being hit by a motorcycle in Sarlahi.



On the Sangrampur-Banke road section of Haripurwa Municipality, 68-year-old Gajendra Sah lost his life after being struck by a motorcycle.

The motorcycle, bearing Indian number plate BR 30 AE 8220, seriously injured Sah, who was immediately taken to Provincial Hospital Malangwa for treatment, where doctors declared him dead, according to the Sarlahi District Police Office.


DSP Saroj Rai stated that 24-year-old Shrawan Sah from Parsa Rural Municipality-5, who was driving the motorcycle, has been taken into custody for investigation.
