KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Major four political parties are yet again near to a deal on contentious issues of the new constitution. Top leaders claimed they are near an accord and it will be signed by today itself.
“Agreement will be reached today, there won’t be any further delay,” said Prime Minister Sushil Koirala talking briefly with media.

Sources close to the developments said members of Special Committee are holding secrete meetings to prepare report of decision made by the committee comprising top leaders.
“We have almost reach agreement, signing in the only thing left,” a leader told Myrepublica, “Preparations are underway to sign the accord today at any cost.”
On the other hand, Chairman of Madheshi People’s Rights Forum (Democratic) Bijay Kumar Gachhadar said his party won’t sign the agreement if Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari and Kailali districts of Tarai are joined with Hilly districts.
“I won’t sign the agreement in such case,” MPRF-D Chief Whip Ram Janam Chaudhary said quoting Gachhadar.
Meanwhile, the meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) has been postponed till 8 pm. The CA was to convene at 6 pm.
