As per the tentative agenda, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is expected to present a proposal to initiate general discussions on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2025/26, accompanied by a formal statement.

However, since May 27, the House has not been able to proceed with regular business due to persistent protests from opposition lawmakers. Their primary demands include the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and the formation of a parliamentary probe committee over the recent visit visa scandal.
