One person injured in pro-monarchy protests dies: Home Ministry

The MoHA has stated that Sabin Maharjan, 29, who was injured during the protest at Tinkune, succumbed to his injuries.

KATHMANDU, March 28: One person who was injured in the pro-monarchy protests in the capital on Friday has died, the Ministry of Home Affairs confirmed in a press conference.


The MoHA has stated that Sabin Maharjan, 29, who was injured during the protest at Tinkune, succumbed to his injuries.

According to the ministry, Maharjan died while undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. 


At least 15 security personnel and 15 protesters were injured during the clashes, the MoHA added.
