KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Among 13 Nepalis missing after floods in two separate locations in India’s Uttarakhand state, the dead body of a missing person has been recovered, according to the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi. Identification of the deceased is underway.
The disaster was triggered on August 5 when a cloudburst caused flash floods in Dharali, leaving eight Nepalis still unaccounted for. Thirteen Nepalis had been rescued alive from the area.

In a separate incident on August 6, floods struck Baguda in Pauri Garhwal, where five Nepalis went missing. One body has been recovered from that site as well.
The Baguda flood injured five Nepalis, three of whom have been discharged after treatment, while two remain hospitalized, the embassy said.
