Rai who reached district headquarters Diktel from Buipa, suggested to make one-horned rhino national animal of Nepal reasoning that it is an endangered animal. Corroborating his reason, he further said that the cow, which is religiously associated with the Hindus and is also the election symbol of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, is controversial not wholy representative, and hence, should be replaced by one-horned rhino.
His suggestions somewhat garnered supports from the people during the program. Meanwhile, he also suggested converting Teachers Service Commission into Constitutional Commission.
