KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Police have detained an individual in connection with the attack on senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi at the Kathmandu District Court. Tripathi presented arguments representing the victims of the Swarnalaxmi cooperative fraud case.

The attack occurred after a closed-door hearing in the case involving RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane who is a defendant in the case. RSP and Lamichhane supporters gathered in large numbers outside the court, mobbing the senior lawyer. The judge is expected to issue an order on the case today.
