DOTI, Oct 11: A bus accident in Doti has claimed one life and injured 21 others.
The incident occurred on the Bhimdatt Highway in Jorayal Rural Municipality–2 early Friday morning. The ill-fated bus with the registration number Supa Pra 01001 Kha 3956 was en route to Dhangadhi from Achham, according to Gautam Mishra, spokesperson for the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office.

The accident took place around 5:30 AM, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Hariya Pariyar from Mangalsen Municipality-9, Achham. He was among the 22 passengers on board, including the driver. Eight of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
The injured are being transported to Dhangadhi Provincial Hospital for treatment. Mishra stated that the bus went out of control and fell approximately 100 meters off the road in Jorayal Rural Municipality–2.
