The NSU organized chakkajam from 9:00 am at different colleges including Nepal Humanities College, Exhibition Road, Patan Multiple Campus, and Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University, among others.[break]
Spokesperson of NSU, UP Lamichhane said that they organized the chakkajam to protest the government´s latest move as it would not contribute in forging consensus among political parties in the context that initiatives were underway to form a national consensus government to give political and constitutional outlet to the country.
Lamichhane said that a protest rally will be organized in Kathmandu on Thursday as the government had failed to hold elections on the declared date of November 22.
The NSU also urged the government to exit from power immediately to create an environment for the formation of a national consensus government.
