NSU holds relay hunger strike demanding FSU poll

KATHMANDU, March 24: The Nepal Students Union, a student organization of the Nepali Congress, started relay fast demanding that the TU should make public the Free Students Union´s election programme including others.



The NSU started the relay fast saying that the TU has been reluctant to make public FSU election programme.[break]



The NSU leaders Kailash Koirala, Krishna Prasad Jaisi, Harishchandra Bhandari, Bhim Kumar Gautam, and Sanjeev Neupane have participated in the relay fast, today.



The relay fast would continue until the TU makes election programme public, said NSU leader UP Lamichhane. The TU failed to conduct FSU election since 2065 BS though there is the provision of holding FSU election every two years.
