KATHMANDU, July 7: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited bids for bonds worth Rs 25 billion.
According to a public notice issued by the central bank on Tuesday, bids for the 2084 'Ng' (2027 'E') bonds can be submitted online. Only banks and financial institutions in categories 'A', 'B' and 'C' that are licensed by the NRB (counterparties) are eligible to participate in the auction.
NRB to issue development bonds worth Rs 10 billion
Counterparties must specify the amount they wish to bid and the proposed interest rate, expressed to up to four decimal places.
The NRB said bids must be submitted for a minimum of Rs 50 million and may be placed in multiples of Rs 50 million, up to the total issue size of Rs 25 billion.
