KATHMANDU, Dec 12: In the first match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) today Biratnagar Kings will be batting first against Pokhara Avengers.
At the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Sandeep Lamichhane, the captain of Biratnagar Kings, won the toss and opted to bat. Both the Kings and the Avengers, playing their fifth match, have come onto the field today with the goal of achieving their second victory.

Previously, the Biratnagar Kings faced defeats against Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpashchim Royals, and Karnali Yaks, but they were able to scrape victory against Lumbini Lions by two wickets.
Similarly, the Pokhara Avengers, who have lost to Chitwan, Pokhara, and Karnali, also achieved a victory over Lumbini. Lumbini has already been eliminated from the playoffs.
