NOC delegation leaves for Bangladesh to study import of petro products

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: A delegation of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has left here for Bangladesh today to carryout study on feasibility for importing petroleum products.

The NOC, which has been searching different alternatives due to fuel crisis in the country following unannounced border blockade by India, send the team to Bangladesh for the same.


The delegation comprises Chief and Director of the NOC Engineering Department Birendra Goit and NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Ghimire, among others. A bilateral discussion would be held regarding importing cooking gas, petrol, diesel and air fuel from Bangladesh.

Ghimire said that discussion would be held with Bangladeshi officials about all alternatives. RSS
