No power cut in morning, evening: DPM Rayamajhi

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamajhi on Thursday said that there will be no power cut in morning and evening to facilitate cooking of food on electricity to cope to fuel crisis resulted by Indian blockade.

At an interaction by Reporters’ Club in the capital, Minister Rayamajhi informed that the ministry has formulated plan to maintain uninterrupted power from 6 to 9 in morning and evening.

On the occasion, he termed the national unity intact in Nepalis during the blockade imposed by India as prideful.

“Diplomatic efforts should be made to end blockade and attempts should be done to address demands of Madheshi Front.”   

DPM Rayamajhi further said the government will exhibit utmost flexibility to solve the current turmoil.
