NUWAKOT, Nov 24: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said an election is the only option to end the present political adversity.
Inaugurating the Ghalegaon Cultural Building at Panchakanya Rural Municipality-3 of Nuwakot on Sunday, Coordinator Dahal, who is also the former Prime Minister, argued for the restoration of citizens' rights, election is the best solution.

He, however, said national political unity is essential for holding the election on time.
"Not only communist forces but all other political parties, including the Nepali Congress, should concentrate on elections. If the time for the March 5 election is not enough for preparation, it can be held from coming Baisakh to Jestha (by mid June 2026)," he said, underlining the need for liberating the country from instability.
Coordinator Dahal further expressed belief that even the CPN UML would be involved in election preparation because other parties, including the Nepali Congress, had been ready for it. "Focusing on the election is the only measure to seek a solution," he reiterated.
