Nima scored 35 points in the tournament organized under the 7/8 Stable Ford handicap format. MB Limbu stood second with 32 points, while Indra Thapa was second runner-up on countback. [break]
DT Sherpa was the gross winner of the tournament as he accumulated 34 points leaving Mithun Rai behind as a runner-up.

In ladies´ category, Sumitra Dayananda (34 points) was the winner. Shastika Shrestha (29 points) and Pawitra Yakthumba (28 points) stood first and second runner-up respectively.
KJ Baral was the winner in the octogenarian category, while NK Rai got victory over KG Shrestha to win the title of the senior category.
Jong Yoon Jeon was the guest winner in the tournament organized for club members. Neeraj SJB Rana hit most birdies in the tournament whereas Mithun rai and Shastika Shrestha won the prize for longest drive men and women respectively for their drive in hole-13. Shree Jay Acharya and Pawitra Yakthumba were awarded closest to the pin. Krishna Chandra Kayastha was named as the most hard working golfer of the year 2009 among the club´s members.
Fifty-six golfers along with six women participated in the tournament.

Likewise, Yan Helen Willford won the Surya Nepal Golf Gokarna Monthly medal held at Gokarna Forest Golf Resort on Saturday. She scored a net 66 (six under par).
Peter Morris was the first Runner-up with the score of three under par 69 and Josef Zimmermann was second Runner-up with score of 74 (2 over par).
Altogether 19 players took part in the event. This was the seventh medal event of the season and one more medal event will be held in December 2.
Valley Public, Kathmandu Xavier win titles
KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Hosts Valley Public School won the girls´ title of the Fourth Valley Public Inter-School Basketball Championship, while Kathmandu Xavier lifted the trophy in the boys´ category.
In girls´ class, Valley Public outplayed Prithivi School 35-7. Sujata Rai scored 12 points to bring delight to the home team. Likewise, Kathmandu Xavier eased past hosts Valley Public in a 50-48 thriller. Asim Shrestha scored 20 points for the winner.
Sujata and Biraj Rana of home teams were named ´most valuable player´ in girls´ and boys´ category respectively.
