KATHMANDU, July 20: Two persons were killed and four others sustained injuries in a night bus mishap that took place at Benighat of Dhading district at 1 pm earlier today.
The ill-fated night bus with plate number Na 5 Kha 2293 bound for Kakarvitta from Kathmandu met with an accident as it swerved off the road.

The deceased have been identified as the bus driver Kamal Dhungana and the assistant driver Nawaraj Siwakoti. They were a resident of Sibasatasi Municipality in Jhapa, Krishnaraj Sapkota, an Inspector at District Traffic Police Office, Gajuri told Republica Online.
The injured were rushed to Malekhu Community.
According to Inspector Sapkota, the accident might have taken place due to the carelessness on the part of the driver. “The bus might have fell off the road after the driver failed to suppress his sleepy feeling”, said Sapkota.
