KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Tuesday increased marginally by 2.99 points and closed at 1,953.35 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,950.37 points and fell to the day’s low at 1,934.17 points. On successive trading, the market hit as high as 1,957.88 points before shading around four points to close for the day.

The daily turnover declined to Rs 957.06 million from Rs 1.49 billion on Monday. Out of 13 sub-groups, seven gained in their average share prices.
A total of 120 companies gained in their share prices, while 67 companies witnessed a fall in their market values. Himalayan Distillery Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 97.27 million. Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha was the top gainer whereas NIC Asia Balanced Fund lost the highest percent of its market value.
