NEPSE falls 16.47 points as  turnover hits Rs 5.38 billion

Share prices of 224 companies declined, with investors in Hathaway Investment suffering the biggest loss. The company’s share price fell 10.58 percent.

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell 16.47 points on Monday to close at 2,613.33 points.



Share prices of 224 companies declined, with investors in Hathaway Investment suffering the biggest loss. The company’s share price fell 10.58 percent.

Meanwhile, share prices of 49 companies increased.


Total turnover stood at Rs 5.38 billion. Himalayan Distillery recorded the highest turnover among individual companies, with shares worth Rs 358.2 million changing hands.
