Nepal jumps eight places in FIFA rankings

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Nepali national football team has jumped eight positions to 188th in the FIFA Rankings published by the football's world governing body on Thursday.

The improvement in Nepal’s ranking owes to its recent performances in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup held in Bangladesh.

Last month, Nepal had suffered a significant setback in the ranking after plunging to196th position.
