KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Nepal has congratulated Donald J Trump on being elected as the 45th president of the United States of America.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Wednesday sent separate messages of congratulations to the president-elect of the USA.
Both President Bhandari and Prime Minister Dahal have extended best wishes for the successful tenure of Trump, while expressing desire to work closely with the US in the days ahead.
