According to NeBA, vice-president Thapa has been nominated for FIBA Asia´s technical committee while general secretary Thapa has been nominated for the 3x3 basketball committee.[break]
Both of them will be representing South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) in their respective permanent committees. Narendra Thapa will be coordinating the technical aspects of SABA and has also been entrusted to conduct technical study of basketball in SABA.
Dinesh Thapa, who is also an executive member of the SABA central board, will coordinate and promote 3x3 basketball in South Asia and will also lead the SABA 3x3 basketball committee.
Both the officials will have four-year terms.
