NC's general convention by mid-March

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: Today's meeting of the Nepali Congress office-bearers has decided to prepare a proposal for holding its 13th general convention by mid-March and to submit it in the meeting of central committee scheduled on Wednesday.

The meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar decided to hold district and village convention within February 12 and the general convention by mid-March, said NC Vice-President, Ram Chandra Poudel.

Although the term of incumbent leadership was already terminated, the general convention was postponed as the leadership of the party was busy in new constitution task. RSS
