The report will be finalized after holding necessary discussion in the party´s central committee (CC) meeting. The report will then be submitted to the Constituent Assembly´s state restructuring committee. According to general secretary Bimalendra Nidhi, the report, which enumerates the proposed federal states, however, does not suggest any names for them. Earlier, two models of state restructuring had been proposed. The first model proposed seven provinces, while another model proposed five provinces.

Meanwhile, a CA Election Review and Complaints Investigation Committee headed by Chiranjibi Wagle also submitted its report in the meeting. According to Narahari Acharya, the CC meeting directed district committees across the country to cancel memberships of the rebel candidates who defect the party. The meeting also directed district committees to submit names of such members who are dismissed as per the party´s statute and regulations to the party´s central office.
The NC central committee meeting also decided to carry out further investigation to take action against those failing to cooperate and betraying the official candidates in various districts of the country. The central committee meeting scheduled to be held after Dashain will take action against such members.
