KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Nepali congress (NC) has expedited its internal preparations to finalize its candidate for the National Assembly election. The Election is slated for February 7.
To finalize canidates name list, a party's top leaders meeting is ongoing at Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's official residence Baluwatar since 11: 00 AM, NC spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma informed.

According to Sharma, yesterday, NC has finalized four candidates, Badri Prasad Pandey, Tara Devi Bhatta, Sheri Ram Parki, Chhatra Raj Joshi, all of whom represent province -7.
The EC will publish its final voters’ list today and candiates can file their nominations tomorrow. On January 29, each candidates will be provided with their election symbols.
Nepali Congress is also preparing to send representatives in all provinces to educate its members about voting in NA election .
