NAC's lost wheels found in Delhi airport

KATHMANDU, March 1: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), which lost millions of rupee worth of spares from Tribhuvan International Airport has announced that it has found the lost nose wheel and main wheel of 757-9 NACB in Delhi airport.



“The wheels have been found in Internal Bay No. 31 of Delhi Airport and have been brought to Kathmandu on Thursday,” said NAC. [break]



NAC had reported sudden disappearance of nose wheel and main wheel of Boeing 757 in October last year.



NAC had intensified its search for the lost parts. “An official of Air India on February 28 informed our Airport Manager in Delhi that he had seen the wheels in Delhi airport .



On getting the information, we have brought the wheels to Kathmandu on flight 215 of Air India,” reads the statement issued by NAC.
