A delegation of the MPRF-R leaders called on Dahal at his residence in Lazimpat this morning and drew his attention to this effect, Rajiv Jha, a CC member informed.[break]
Earlier, the party had also asked Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to relieve Yadav from the post.
During the meeting, Dahal told the MPRF-R leaders that he would take up the issue to PM Bhattarai.
Earlier, majority CC members of MPRF-R had ousted Yadav and elected Nandan Kumar Dutta as acting chairman of the party.
Various leaders and CC members including Dutta, Jha, Atamaram Sah and Khalid Siddhiqi were present during the meet.
