According to District Police Office, the deceased have been identified as Renu Devi Sah, 35, and her 10-year-old daughter Ankita Kumari.
According to SP Ganesh Regmi, their bodies have been found with scars of cut by the sharp weapons.
According to Yatbariya Devi, mother-in-law of the deceased Renu, the mother and daughter had left house at around 2 am early this morning. Locals had begun search campaign as Renu did not return till 4 am this morning.
The bodies of mother and daughter were recovered from the main road located at Purbi-Hardiya Paltuwa-4, some 200 meters away from her house.
