KATHMANDU, Feb 7: A mother and daughter were found hanging in Godavari Municipality-11, Kailali. Mira Kami, 24, and her two-year-old daughter, Prinsi Kami, were found hanging in their room.
Kabindra Singh Bohara, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kailali, said that they were found hanging with a nylon rope this morning.

Mira'’s brother-in-law, Naresh BK, reported the incident to the police after witnessing the scene. The deceased’s husband is in India for employment, while her mother-in-law was not at home at the time of the incident, police said.
The bodies of both the deceased have been kept at Seti Provincial Hospital for conducting an autopsy. DSP Bohra said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
