BHAKTAPUR, May 3: A minor has been killed after being hit by a vehicle at Jhaukhel in Changunarayan Muncipality on Wednesday.
The deceased is 30-month-old Enik Shrestha of Ramechhap, currently staying at Jhaukhel, according to police.
The vehicle with the registration no. Ba 12 Cha 8774 rammed the child while it was playing in front of the house.

Critically hurt child, who was rushed to Madhyapur Hospital for treatment, passed away in the course of treatment.
The dead body has been taken to TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for postmortem following a site report, said Krishna Prasain, spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range Office, Bhaktapur.
The driver is Bikram Shahi Thakuri, 32, of Kavre Anaikot-9, currently staying at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, Gaththaghar.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the vehicle involved in the incident under control.
